Nahum Vision
The book of Nahum Chapter 1 describes the character of God giving fair judgement upon Nineveh. This poem below was crafted from Nahum 1. Read below
And the eyes of Nahum the Elkoshite was opened and in it read thus:
At the end of 17th century BC
The shame of the assyrians
the time when their wickedness shall cease.
The chapters of judgment flipped
the anger of the lord is kindled
he is furious
he is God, Jealous.
the Lord great in power
slow to anger
he revengeth
wrath for the enemies, he reserveth
in the whirlwind and storm, his ways are crafted
the clouds are the dust of his feet
the hills melt, the mountains quake at him
the earth is burned at his presence
Who can stand before his indignation?
No, not one of the nations!
Who can abide in the fierceness of his anger?
his fury poured out like fire
Mighty art thou, Oh Lord!
A stronghold in the day of trouble
the utter end of the place he made with an overflowing flood
and darkness pursue his enemies, they stumble
What do ye imagine against the Lord?
he causes an utter eternal end
afflictions shall not rise again the second time
the wicked shall no more pass through thee
he break his yoke off thee
thy bonds will burst in asunder
he places the enemies under
the afflicted he would heal
look upon the mountains
Oh Judah!
the feet of him that bringeth good tidings
that publisheth peace
perform your vows
the wicked shall be cut off from thee
every opposition shall bow
and the enemies shall flee
