Life's Curse
Life is not fairLove so scarce
Comfort and joy so rare
Served pain and rejection here and there
Nobody actually cares
The way you feel
Nobody wants to hear
You've got to learn one man survival skill
If it is not trade by batter
No iota of value spent
Even fate can't reward what is due
Why are some flowers not watered by the morning dew?
Unequal hands, opportunities few
The shoulder to lay on
Does not want to bear another burden
No unity, we no longer one
We did not beg to be born
Yet this evil befalls us
How can we navigate on life's shores
When we can't fix the compass that came with a curse
